About the Parke Mansfield Parke is located in the historic village of Mansfield, Indiana. It's the ideal setting along the main street of Mansfield-a hot spot during the Covered Bridge Festival. It offers a great view of the Mansfield Covered Bridge, 1820's Roller Mill and Big Raccoon Creek all year round. Mansfield Parke is a bustling center of activity in the village as there is a festival held monthly in this quaint crossroads in central Indiana. "We promote professional events around prime vendor space in Mansfield Village." The Mansfield Village Welcome Center is located right downtown at Mansfield Parke. Open weekends from Memorial Day until the Covered Bridge Festival, this official visitor's center for the area offers information about Mansfield Village as well as scenic Parke County. Many exclusive lines of merchandise can also be found at the Welcome Center including the Hilltop Farm Collector Basket series, Mansfield Parke Festival Cookbooks, souvenirs and other products not found anywhere else in the county. Hours for the Welcome Center are Saturday from 10 am until 4 pm and Sunday from 11 am until 4 pm. The Red Barn of Mansfield Parke is home to many vendors during the Village Festivals throughout the year. It is the center of downtown activity and hosts many events throughout the year. Free entertainment plays on the front porch of the Red Barn on many occasions. The building can also be rented privately for wedding receptions, reunions and other events. The Hilltop Farm Barn is an icon on the Mansfield Parke property - it always stands out in a crowd. This is the backdrop for the popular Outdoor Summer Concert Series held during the summer months featuring country stars (in the past) such as Pam Tillis, Oak Ridge Boys, Aaron Tippin, Neal McCoy, Rhonda Vincent, Gary Allan, Trace Adkins, & Phil Vassar. The concert series gives fans an up-close, personal performance of country music's favorite artists under the stars of Parke County. Tickets for the concerts may be purchased through the Hilltop Farm Box Office (765-344-1889), at the Mansfield Village Welcome Center or at any Ticketmaster locations. Hilltop General Store is located in the Hilltop Craft Barn and open for all Village Festivals as well as during the Summer Concerts for good snacks, personal & convenience items plus old-fashioned gift ideas. Craft vendors are also located in the Craft Barn during the festivals held throughout the year. The Creekside Chapel of Mansfield Parke was opened in the summer of 2006 as home to Mansfield Weddings, LLC. Couples may hold an intimate ceremony for two or a complete wedding for up to 300 overlooking Big Raccoon Creek. Packages are available including flowers, photography, catering, cake, honeymoon suites & other amenities to make this special day one to remember forever. Anniversary packages are also available for couples that wish to renew their vows. Hilltop Craft House is home to Gifts by Nature, a unique shop open on weekends during the summer and during all village festivals. Gifts by Nature features barniture, candles, Christmas, florals, kitchen, nautical & Lang products. Good 'ole country auctions take place on Sunday afternoons during the summer festivals and are conducted by Jeff Rich Auction Service. The auction is held under the Pavilion at Hilltop Farm or in the 'Ole Barnyard offering plenty of covered seating, modern restrooms & good food nearby. We also operate the first-ever trolley system in Mansfield, which runs back and forth from our parking lots to Hilltop Farm during most festivals. Hilltop Farm parking lots are easily identified along State Road 59 as they are color coded: blue, red, green & yellow. Trolley stops are provided in each lot for passengers to board the trolley for the free ride into town. After a fun-filled day of shopping & sight seeing, visitors can ride the trolley back and deposit the treasures they've purchased in their vehicles. The Mansfield Sky Ride was introduced during the 2006 Covered Bridge Festival giving riders an awesome view - The Best Seats in the House - overlooking the magestic Covered Bridge & beautful waterfalls on Big Raccoon Creek. Both Sky Ride entrances are located in Mansfield Parke. Future expansion of the Sky Ride will include operation at other Mansfield Village events.
