Come relax and enjoy the last days of summer the second weekend of August. Cool off with a slice of ice cold watermelon or a cool watermelon drink. Enjoy shopping for crafts, antiques and flea market gems at the village shoppes downtown. Indiana grown melons will be available at the Welcome Center of Mansfield Parke. Delicious food also available all throughout town. Visit the historic Mansfield Roller Mill and enjoy great views of the Mansfield Covered Bridge on Big Raccoon Creek.
The seed spitting contest & watermelon eating contest will take place on the porch of the Welcome Center Saturday afternoon.
Camping available at Mansfield Parke. Fees are $15/night & includes 20-amp service hookups, water & access to modern bathroom & shower house. ($25 for 2 nights). Reservations recommended.
